Your IRL Battle scars?
I think a lot of people have so called "battle scars" somewhere on their body; a small scrape mark from when you saved that puppy or when a rooster attacked you as a kid, or in a tough fight with a random rectumhole, whatever the reason, there's a mark on the body that shows the sign of your battle.
I wonder, what is yours? And please do tell how you got it!
My battle scars are located on my lower belly, poking at the pubes kinda (heh too much detail, YAY!) and have been acquired at two different times, both life threatening and both right after each other. Not very painful though, but I remember it as clearly as you can remember something after being under anaesthesia. What happened? I was born with two holes in the membrane that keeps the gut in place, so one day, my gut decided to take a walk out under the skin, first through one side, then as I came home from the hospital, more or less recovered from the grogginess it poked out on the other side too.
"What ever doesn't kill you is gonna leave a scar" eh?
I also have some scars from battling stupidity, but they were never anything special, just ugly. (you like cigarette burns?)
So now; tell me yours!

I have a scar on my upper forehead from being hit by a 2x4, a scar on the back of my head from a beer bottle, another scar somewhere on my head from hitting it on the corner of a table when I was young, 2 scars on the top of my head from bashing it on some steel barrier, and a scar on my thumb from almost cutting it off with a bandsaw.

A scar on the top of my head from when I got into a bar fight with some old man, grandpa old. Don't you judge me, he's the one who started it.
He "bottled" me.

My knees and elbows are a total mess from falling down as a kid. Lower arms are marked for life by various cats. Got a scratchmark right over my nipple too, but that one's caused by an ex gf.
All in all my face is pretty clean. Maybe it pays off to wear glasses!

I was petting my roomates cat once and got her purring, then all of a sudden she turned on my arm and put all her strength into scratching my inner forearm with her legs.
I've had a 6 inch scar for two months now, and it's right inbetween the veins. Any further to the left or right would've owned the crap out of me.
Yeah it's nothing awesome, but it still would've sucked horribly. "Yeah I died from petting my cat..."

I have a scar on my cheek from getting hit in the face with a putter (golf club). That's a long story, so I wont go into it.
I have scars on my knuckles from boxing in late high school/early college and from our Middle School's version of Fight Club on the elementary school's gravel roof (lol, we thought we were so cool).
And finally, I have large scars on my calf and ankle from basketball in high school and football in college.
Oh, I forgot one. I have a scar on my other ankle from a water moccasin bite. It was around 2 years ago, though, so it's not as noticeable anymore.

I have a scar on my forehead from being bumped into by a dude (I was like 7, he was an adult) and falling on a rock :\ (it was on the ice).
A scar under my chin but I'm not really sure what it's from tbh.
I can't entirely stretch my left knee because I got kicked by a horse (I later heard that it missed my head by a few cm).
My 2 front teeth are false because they got knocked out during a fight.
I think that's it.

Nose scar. I had such a powerful allergic reaction, the skin on my nose turned into a chitin-like substance. After about 2 months it fell off, revealing very soft tissue.
You know how normally your skin changes cells every 2-3 weeks, give or take week? My nose doesn't. It will probably be a bit scarred for ever, it might get better, but there will be always a mark.
Also one of those scars you get after getting a shot when you are 6 or 7 years old, on my left arm's upper part, close to the joint.

oh a subject I can relate to
first one...broke my nose on a table when I was 18 months old---big nastey mark (and yes kids made fun of me since it also had a huge bump under it that grew as I got older--had that taken out when I was in high school as I had a deviated septum and I couldnt breathe with it)
second...have a nice long scar on my left calf from a bicycle accident in 4th grade...if I get a tan it looks really bad
third ....5th grade, tumbling accident (I am no mary lou for sure)....wound up kicking a table of glasses over and got one in my ankle---nope, didnt go to the doctor so it stayed in there until I went swimming later that year---nice big scar for that.
also in 5th grade....tripped off the side of the road and banged up my elbow...nice scar there too.
and the one I got tripping into a metal cabinet a few years ago---it required stitches and my hubby almost passed out when they were numbing the area (big needle, whimpy hubby). nice scar there too.
not to mention the scars from the iv's (yes I scar very easily) when I did time in the hospitals--for encephalitis, eye surgery, nose surgery, and endomitriosis surgery....nice ones on the back of my hands.
I dont usually try to get tans since they show up like white paint on my skin when I do....so my ghostly pale color is my savior for that.

Got a cut on my cheek, only visible these days when I grin or something. I like to say it was a metal rod that fell on me. What really happened was I chased a bouncy ball into the kitchen and a broom with no cap on the top fell on my face. It was made of metal though =D.

I have a smallish, very faded scar on my face. When I was like 3 in nursery some other kid stabbed me with a pencil.
I also have two 'scars' (from my teeth) on my right hand. Some friend of the family bet me I couldn't bite myself so hard I bled. Turns out at the time I couldn't, but scarred myself for life in the process. In the hot or cold they two marks go bright red and stick out like a sore thumb .
And then I have a scar on the back of my left hand from what we called a 'chicken scratch' it involved scratching one part of your skin repeatedly until it bled. Did that at school in a maths lesson and then wasn't quite sure what I was supposed to do with a hole in the back of my hand.

@Kumu Honua - that's quite the story! :O Good you survived.
@Bobby2 - glasses aren't really that lifesaving, but they do make you more careful with your face, if you are able to at least. When I had glasses, a certain someone decided to sit on them, whilst still on my face. Painful
@Karate Jesus - Well, when speaking about roughed up by sports, I got a scar on my right shoulder from when a "friend" rammed me and fell on top of me as I slide on the ground. Blondes shouldn't be biking It's roughly one inch across.
@Earth - no front teeth and kicked by a horse. Kinda epic. Horses just stomp on my feet and headbutt me. I guess they go easy though since I never got hurt.
@MMSDome - I see your brother loved you as much as mine loved me. I hope he didn't pull knives on you too :P
@cosyfiep - OMG, you lef the hard in your leg? Not even I do those things :S But when things penetrate my body it's usually on purpose though... so maybe never mind, but that you kept it in? lawd! :O
@Kerwyn Nasilan - Your avatar really matched that statement! XD
@jiggles - That scratch test is similar to what we have here, but we call it "the gay test" and if you bleed after a certain time limit (don't remember how long) or before it; you're supposedly gay.

and yeah I have a few of those...dont scratch off the scabs! scars too--they itch, I scratch, they come off...they reheal, they itch, .......rinse repeat.

On my left hand, there's a scar about 1-1.25 inch long...from a eraser. :\
It was some silly game during a very boring history lesson. lol
My friend and I, grabbed erasers and started to "erase" our skin and tried to outlast the other. I won...but turned out, it wasn't worth it :[
Edit...
Almost forgot about the scar on my leg :\
During football practice...We were racing instead of stretching (because the coach didn't care how we got ourselves ready)...and I tripped over my foot and got stepped on by cleats.

So that's where all that obvious brain damage comes into play eh?
:P
No seriously though, I've been beer bottled on the head aswell. MY fingers are crooked from them being broken numerous times, my elbows are marred up from various cuts and scrapes, my left arm has a now rather faded and hidden by tan scar from being slashed at with a box cutter.
And a rather distinguishing mark on a rather distinguishing appendage that only those of the opposite sex will ever see from a very bad time that is not appropriate to discuss on this forum.

I have a scar under my left eye from when I was a child. Some friends and I were playing basketball in a junk yard. I tripped and fell, cutting me only half an inch away from my eye. I was getting stitches the night b4 3rd grade. good times
